What's your tax cut going to be with Obama?

Calculate it here at

This message will self destruct. Literally.

Ever get the feeling that big brother is always watching you? Want to send an anonymous message to someone? Want to send a secure message that you can be guaranteed will be deleted in, say 45 seconds after they read it?

Then, this site is for you:

What is is a free service which enables you to send a self-destructing message to someone. This means, once they read the message they will no longer be able to read it again after the timer has reached zero. This ensures your message is read by no one but the reader and all evidence of the message is erased. Messages are also anonymous unless you add any identifiable information to your message.

Multiply by 11

Having trouble memorizing the 11 times tables?? Here is a really easy trick that will help you master about all the 11s tables up to 50! First you take any number multiplied by 11 such as 26. Take both the 2 and the 6 and add them together…and you get 8. Then put the number 8 in-between the 2 and the 6 and you have 286. Try another number such as 45. You know the drill, 4+5=9. 495 is the answer. This can help you out a very lot when you are multiplying big numbers by 11. The only part it becomes tricky is when the numbers that add up are over 9. Then you have to carry over and find out the answer.

The English Language is easy!

Just read this out loud:

I take it you already know,
Of tough and bough and cough and dough.
Others may stumble, but not you,
On hiccough, thorough, laugh and through.
Well done! And now you wish, perhaps,
To learn of less familiar traps.
Beware of heard, a dreadful word,
That looks like beard and sounds like bird.
And dead - it’s said like bed, not bead,
For goodness’ sake, don’t call it ‘deed’!
Watch out for meat and great and threat,
(They rhyme with suite and straight and debt).
A moth is not a moth in mother,
Nor both in bother, broth in brother.
And here is not a match for there,
Nor dear and fear for bear and pear.
And then there’s dose and rose and lose –
Just look them up – and goose and choose.
And cork and work and card and ward,
And font and front and word and sword.
And do and go and thwart and cart –
Come, come, I’ve hardly made a start!
A dreadful language? Why man alive!
I’d mastered it when I was five.

Mess with a friend today

If you press Ctrl+Alt+(the up arrow or the down arrow) your screen will flip that way. Just do the opposite to get it back.

I'll be on vacation for a few days, this post will have to suffice for a while for all of my fans.

Well, fan.

McCain vs. McCain

Obama: By the way while we're on the subject of Senator McCain contradicting himself, a few days ago somebody asked me what they could do personally to help America save energy so I said something that some of you have heard which is all of us could get better gas mileage and save oil in the process just by keeping our tires inflated. Turns out the experts agreed, turns out that we could save 3 to 4% on our total oil consumption just by keeping our cars tuned up, inflating our tires. Senator McCain and the Republican National Committee though mocked the idea, they've been going around sending tire gauges to reporters saying Barack Obama's energy plan. Well, the, you know that sounded clever except last night after all that Senator McCain actually said he agreed that keeping our tires inflated was a good idea. Which makes sense because it turns out NASCAR, which knows something about tires, apparently said the same thing, so did the AAA and so in the coming days it is going to be interesting to watch this debate between John McCain and John McCain.

Six degrees of separation: it's real

Well, it's more like 6.6 degrees.

Those familiar with the Kevin Bacon game, six degrees of Kevin Bacon, know the theory: Kevin Bacon has been in so many movies that every single actor is only 6 degrees (relationships/contacts) away from him. I suggest that you try it! Plan on being there a while until you find someone who is 7+ degrees away.

This Washington Post article, talks about a study done where "records of 30 billion electronic conversations among 180 million people from around the world, researchers have concluded that any two people on average are distanced by just 6.6 degrees of separation, meaning that they could be linked by a string of seven or fewer acquaintances."

Pretty cool, I say.... errr type.
